Man arrested for Facebook messages
A Hot Springs man is being charged with Internet Stalking of a Child and Computer Child Pornography.
Jesse Dunn, 27, was arrested Thursday afternoon after allegedly sending sexually explicit text and Facebook messages and photos to a 14-year-old girl.
The father of the girl filed a report with Garland County Sheriff’s Department, and submitted the girl’s phone for investigation.
Dunn and the victim had sent around 217 text messages to each other during a two day period, and the contact on her phone identified the suspect as “Dirty Secret.” The report says that several of the messages were “very sexually explicit and describe specific sexual acts that the [victim] and ‘Dirty Secret’ want to perform on each other.”
The victim was interviewed by GCSD, where she claimed that “Dirty Secret” was a man she knows as Jesse. She also confirmed that she and Dunn had exchanged sexually explicit photos and texts.
The victim allowed authorities to view her Facebook messages, where Dunn admitted he knew how old the victim was, and that he was aware that what he was doing was illegal.
After finding more explicit messages, GCSD executed a search warrant and seized Dunn’s phone. Dunn also confirmed that his number was the same number stored on the victim’s phone as “Dirty Secret.”
The Garland County Sheriff’s Department believes that Jesse Dunn was a friend of the victim’s family.
Dunn is being held on two class B Felony charges, at a $10,000 bond.
